POSITION: Development of translation layer to workflow TAVERNA to COMPSS applications.

The Computer Science department at Barcelona Supercomputing Center offers a research part- time grant to develop the following responsibilities:

• Design and development of a layer which allows to translate workflows TAVERN to COMPSS applications (see http://www.taverna.org.uk and compss.bsc.es for more information ).
• Development of workflows that check the new functionality.
• These activities were carried out in the framework of the European project Transplant.

Requirements

• Students at last year of Computer Engineering.

Be valued :

• Previous experience in distributed systems.
• Knowledge of programming in C , Java and Python.
• High level of English.
