The Institute IMDEA Networks in Madrid, Spain is recruiting TWO Research Engineers to work in the area of Science of Networks.
In this position you will help in the design and development of algorithms and tools for the Analysis of Social Networks using Big Data techniques.
You will be working with leading researchers in an international working environment.
Requirements
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (students close to completion will also be considered).
• Strong background in programming, software integration, and web development.
• Proven ability to develop solid code and debug complex systems.
• Strongly motivated, with a desire to experiment and explore.
• Fluency in spoken English.
Skills considered as a plus include: Java programming or similar, machine learning, natural language processing, distributed systems, networking, operating systems, statistics, mathematics, and experience in research.
