Neurobiologist needed to study of the rat dopaminergic nigrostriatal system following injections of Adeno-Associated Viruses that impact the CMA pathway, Reduction of Lamp2a in rat substantia nigra – assessment of impact on dopaminergic system- assessment of impact on endogenous alpha-synuclein- assessment of impact on autophagy-assessment of impact of concomitant injection of an AAV overexpressing alpha-synuclein.

Requirements

-University degree (BSc) in Life sciences.

-Advanced Degree (MSc) in Life Sciences. 

-Expertise in cellular and molecular neurobiology.

-Expertise in small animal handling.

-Expertise in using neurotropic viruses to express proteins of interest in the CNS. 

-Expertise in evaluating observed effects on histological and biochemical markers.
