Chalmers University
Gothenburg, Sweden

Description

Your main duty as a tenure-track assistant professor is to perform your own research as a member of a research group. The position also includes teaching for about 20% of your working hours, on undergraduate and master's levels, as well as supervising and co-supervising PhD students. Another important aspect involves international collaboration with academia, industry and society at large. To qualify for the position of a tenure-track assistant professor, you must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field; the degree should not be older than five years. You are expected to be somewhat accustomed to teaching and supervision, and to demonstrate good potential within research and education.
