nanoGUNE, located in San Sebastian, Basque Country (Spain), is a R&D center created recently with the mission of conducting basic and applied world-class research in nanoscience and nanotechnology, fostering training and education excellence, and supporting the growth of a nanotechnology-based industry. The Nanoscience Cooperative Research Center CIC nanoGUNE invites applications for positions as Ikerbasque Research Fellows in the fields of:
 
- Electron Microscopy and Related Techniques
- Nanoscale Materials, Phenomena, and Devices
- Industrial Applications of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
 
and other fields related to the existing research activity at nanoGUNE. Information about Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science, including their specific conditions for the fellowship, can be found at www.ikerbasque.net
 
Requirements
 
Candidates should have an excellent track record of research, including strong postdoctoral accomplishments, they should demonstrate the ability to grow into scientific/technological leadership roles, and, ideally, they should also posses a record or vision of the industrial relevance of their work. Successful candidates would be hosted at nanoGUNE during the fellowship.
