We currently have an opening for a motivated research technician to join the Group of Molecular Oncology at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, Barcelona

(http://www.vhir.org/gr/nanomolecularoncology), in the second quarter of 2013. The Vall d´Hebron Research Institute is a large multidisciplinary institution, with more than 260 active research projects and over 650 publications in 2012 in all fields of biomedical research. We are located in Barcelona, a large Mediterranean city in northern Spain with many cultural and entertainment possibilities. The candidate will participate in several research projects in the field of cancer research using techniques of molecular and cellular biology.

 

Requirements

 

- Have a Bachelor of Science degree or similar.
- Have >2 years of professional experience in a laboratory of biomedical research.
- Have experience with widely used techniques in molecular and cellular biology.
- Experience with animal models is desirable.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be fluent in English language.

- Three year contract.
- Gross annual salary: 23,000.00 Euros.
