Molecular characterization of intestinal bacteria

Description:

A contract funded by a project of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness for 1 year, that could be extended latter. TOPIC: “Molecular characterization of intestinal bacteria and their physiological roles in immune and metabolic disorders in animal models and humans”. The tasks will involve: metagenomic analysis of intestinal microbiome and immunological, metabolic and gene expression analyses in animals and humans.

Requirements:

PhD on Biology, Medicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or equivalent. It will be positively considered:

Stays in foreign laboratories, good English level, and possibilities to apply for other public postdoctoral contracts in the future (Juan de la Cierva, I•P-CSIC, etc.)

Experience and technical skills on: Microbial Ecology, Taxonomy, Gene Expression, Bioinformatics, Immunology, cell cultures and animal models.
