The Economics Department at the University of Vienna invites applications for a position at the assistant professor level (University Assistant) in the following field: Applied Economics. 

The department is seeking to strengthen its profile in research areas analyzing empirical data using statistical and econometric techniques. Requirements

Applicants should have completed (or should be close to completing) a PhD in Economics. Knowledge of German is an asset, but not required. Good level in English

Applications should include a Curriculum Vitae detailing the candidate's education, teaching experience, list of publications, and a letter of motivation. Moreover, the application should include up to two selected papers.

To take part in research, teaching (according to the regulations of the collective agreement) and administration at the department.

Nr of positions available : 1

Status: Full-time

Hours Per Week: 40

The contract is for 6 years.
