PostDoc - Computational models of memory consolidation

Description

A two-year postdoctoral position is available starting January 2014 in the computational neuroscience group at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica in Bellaterra, Spain. This position is funded by project BFU2012-33413 from the “Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad” of the Spanish government.

During these two years, the postdoctoral researcher will work on computational models of memory consolidation in close collaboration with the principal investigator. 

Requirements

Candidates for the position should have a strong technical background, e.g. Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and preferably some experience with modeling biological systems.
