A PhD student position available for Chemist to develop his/her thesis within the EU Initial Training Network FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN CardioNext, a highly multidisciplinary, intersectoral and competitive training programme in cardiovascular research. Project: Preparation of biocompatible nanoparticulate systems suitable for drug delivery and imaging.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Master Degree in Chemistry. Experience in nanoparticle synthesis, organic chemistry and characterization techniques will be valued. Good English communication skills will also be valued. Candidates must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers and have not yet been awarded a doctoral degree. In addition, must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the recruitment date.
