Description
Lines of research:
- Multiscale modeling of advanced Nano-structured materials for engineering. Super-Materials at limit conditions (extreme pressures and radiation conditions).
- Theoretical design of new advanced materials for Industry.
- Possibility of participation in a EU network of research and inside a trans-national consortium of Spanish experts in Materials and Nanotechnology.
Requirements
- Graduate on Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering. Exclusive: Year of Graduation 2011 or younger.
- MSc in Materials is a plus.
- Essential and of critical importance: Have a good academic record (> 2.5/4)
- Spanish Nationality or EU (with diplomas and marks already con-validated according to the Spanish Ministry/System
- Motivation and ability to work in a cross-field inside multidisciplinary teams.
- Feeling excite and enthusiastic to explore new fields.
- High degree of understanding
- Ability to communicate and work inside a team.
- Desirable a high level of programming. Used to work in Linux OS environments.
- MD simulation skills are a plus.
- Possibility to do short-medium term stays in foreign high-level research institutions.
