Description
One 4-year PhD position, funded by the European Research Council, is now open at the University of Barcelona. The selected candidate will work with Prof David Mateos and other members of the group on applications of the gauge/string duality, broadly defined. Appointments can start any time between now and the Fall of 2013. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Faculty members of our group working on string theory and related areas include Jorge Casalderrey-Solana, Roberto Emparan, Bartomeu Fiol, Joaquim Gomis, David Mateos, Josep M. Pons and Jorge Russo.
