PostDoc - Simulation of device processing in Ge and/or III-V based materials

The research group of Atomistic Materials Modeling at IMDEA Materials Institute seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in the area of simulation of device processing in Ge and/or III-V based materials.
The candidate will develop, test and use computational Kinetic Monte Carlo models and algorithms to simulate processing scenarios for microelectronics under a European project with the supervision of a project leader with demonstrated experience in the field.

Requirements

•PhD in Physics, Electronics, Materials Engineering or related field.
•Some knowledge on the front end processing of microelectronic devices for Ge and/or III-V materials.
•Desire to work, learn and excel.
It will be a plus:
•C++ development of scientific applications.
•Kinetic Monte Carlo simulation.
•Experience with TCAD tools.
•Experience supervising students.
