Applications are invited for Post-Doctoral Positions to work in the Esteve-ICIQ Joint Unit at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), Tarragona.

The Esteve–ICIQ Joint Unit is a collaborative research project between the Spanish pharmaceutical company ESTEVE and ICIQ, dedicated to the development of new chemical processes and generation of medicinal chemistry libraries for drug discovery projects.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a PhD degree in organic chemistry with significant experience in organic synthesis. The position will be focused on developing and optimizing reaction conditions, synthesis and purification of compound libraries. The candidate is expected to be familiar with general analytical tools (NMR, HPLC, etc.), and be a motivated team player.
