Description

IMDEA Materials Institute (Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies of Materials) is a non-profit,
private research organization, promoted by the Regional Government of Madrid, Spain, to carry
out research activities in Materials Science and Engineering. The research group of Atomistic Materials Modeling seeks a postdoctoral researcher to work in the area of simulation of device processing in Ge and/or III-V based materials. The candidate will develop, test and use computational Kinetic Monte Carlo models and algorithms to simulate processing scenarios for microelectronics under a European project with the supervision of a project leader with demonstrated experience in the field.

Requirements

- PhD in Physics, Electronics, Materials Engineering or related field.
- Some knowledge on the front end processing of microelectronic devices for Ge and/or III-V materials.
- Desire to work, learn and excel.
It will be a plus:
- C++ development of scientific applications.
- Kinetic Monte Carlo simulation.
- Experience with TCAD tools.
- Experience supervising students.
