PostDoc - Researcher Doctoral Committee for Theology

Description

During the two years of the post-doctorate, the researcher, accompanied by a Faculty professor, will participate in the activities of the research centre or the research group of the Institute to which he/she will be affiliated. See the list of centres and groups: http://www.uclouvain.be/rscs.html
His/her research project shall result in one or more publications in the form of monographs or articles, according to a decision taken with the host professor and the head of the Doctoral Committee for Theology. He/she is expected to participate in preparations and organisation of a conference of his/her speciality as well as to present a paper during the said conference.

Requirements

The candidate must have obtained, since less than 6 years ago and outside the UCL, a doctorate in theology or in another discipline provided that the issue of his research articulates with Christianity. He/she must equally be capable of expressing himself/herself (at least orally) in French.

Candidate’s application shall include a Curriculum Vitae and a motivation letter, a copy of his/her PhD thesis (electronic version), a list of publications and scientific collaborations, email address and contact details of four professors or researchers who may be requested to testify on the candidate's qualities, a 12-page presentation of the research project with a timeline, and with the explanation of its suitability for research projects of the Institute RSCS.
