Description
You will work in a young but enthusiastic environment, now based in Burgos with permanent collaborations with International and National Institutions. In particular, close work with the French “elite” University ECOLE NORMALE SUPERIEURE DE LYON (FRANCE), and The large scale facility Institute Laue Langevin (ILL) – Grenoble (FRANCE). Lines of research:
- Physics/Chemistry of biological molecules. Molecular modeling of DNA and proteins.
- Molecular modeling of drug-binding and screening.
- Modeling DNA physics. Application to bioinformatics.
- Modeling Design & Interactions of Nanoparticles with membranes and cellular receptors.
- Nano-safety
- Physics of DNA
Requirements
- Graduate on Physics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Engineering (particularly Industrial or Informatics). Year of Graduation 2011 or younger.
- BE IN POSSESION OF A MASTER ( dated in 2012 or before) and able to enter in a Spanish Official PhD program.
- Excellent Academic records (> 2.4/4 or > 8.0/10)
- Motivation and ability to work in a cross-field inside multidisciplinary teams.
- Feeling excite and enthusiastic to explore new fields.
- High degree of understanding
- Ability to communicate and work inside a team.
- Desirable a high level of programming. Used to work in Linux OS environments.
- Possibility to do short-medium term stays in foreign high level research institutions.
