Description
 
The University of York, UK, is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow to play an important role in the delivery and development of our undergraduate teaching, with a particular focus on astrophysics. The Department places great importance in the quality of its degrees, and the Fellow will undertake a key role in teaching innovation and in the development and continual updating of our degree programmes. The Teaching Fellow will be expected to take a lead in aspects of curriculum development, teaching innovation and student support.
 
Requirements
 
The ideal candidate would have a teaching qualification plus a good first degree and PhD in Physics, but anyone with the ability to teach physics, especially astrophysics, at degree level and with the enthusiasm to engage with students and maintain the high quality of our degree provision is encouraged to apply. The posts are permanent academic appointments and the university has a clear career progression to senior levels for Teaching Fellows.
