PhD Fellowships in Remote Sensing are available immediately in Virginia Tech's new Interdisciplinary Graduate Program. Remote Sensing is an interdisciplinary field which is evolving rapidly as more and more techniques are developed and implemented to address a wide range of scientific and societal problems. Virginia Tech's new remote sensing graduate curriculum spans multiple departments, including courses in electrical engineering, computer engineering, forestry, geography, history, economics, computer science, and statistics. Research opportunities exist within the Center for Space Science and Engineering Research (Space@VT) and the Center for Environmental Applications of Remote Sensing (CEARS).
