CTTC invites applications for a post-doctoral position in the area of cellular technologies, LTE, Self-Organizing Networks, Small cells/Hetnets. The selected candidate will be involved in the design and development of self-organizing algorithms for next-generation cellular heterogeneous networks.
 
Requirements
 
Applicants must be strongly motivated, hold a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering, have the capacity of carrying out innovative research independently. A good publication record is fundamental. Experience in R&D or industrial projects is a plus. The candidate must have a strong background in current cellular mobile communication systems (LTE), scheduling, RRM techniques, interference management. Strong mathematical skills, along with machine learning experience, and system-level simulator design and development, are highly desirable. Fluency in English is required.

Contract duration is 24 months, renewable on a yearly basis subject to performance. The salary is 32,000 Euro.
