Description
We have an opportunity for a qualified Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer in Sittingbourne, Kent. Reporting to a Project Manager, candidates will be required to work on domestic and international remediation projects involving a variety of remediation technologies and equipment. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with the organisation of projects, submission of designs and tender documents, preparation of reports & handling technical data, whilst ensuring compliance with health & safety. The role will involve working away from home for extended periods of time (up to several months); associated benefits shall be provided.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a strong relevant degree. New graduates and those with some pertinent work experience in the contaminated land sector shall be considered for the position. An ability to gain an understanding of the technologies being used, through training and personal development will be expected. The successful candidate will be diligent, with a professional outlook and demonstrate enthusiasm and energy to deliver the requirements of this role. The ability to work as an effective member of a team and on your own initiative will be essential, along with the drive to commit to professional and career development. A full UK/EC driving license and valid passport are essential for this role.
