Description
 
A PhD position is available in the laboratory of Dra. Elena Monte (www.montelab.org) at the CRAG Institute in Barcelona, Spain to study the mechanisms underlying plant responses to light. The project combines the use of Molecular, Cellular, Genomic and Genetic approaches to elucidate the role of the transcription factor PIF3 in plant growth and development. We are seeking highly motivated and outstanding students with a background in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry or similar.
