Catalan Institute of Oncology
Barcelona, Spain
Description
Major advances in the understanding of the genetic basis of breast cancer have been made in recent years, but these advances have not led to significant improvements in clinical practice. Moreover, knowledge of the tumor/somatic alterations involved in the disease is disperse, impeding transfer to the clinic and the development of personalized treatments. In this scenario, our group aims at integrating basic and translational research in breast cancer. In this context, the Breast Cancer and Systems Biology Group in the Catalan Institute of Oncology is looking for a highly motivated predoctoral student.
Requisites
-BSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

-Highly motivated for biomedical research.
