Description
The enthusiastic candidate we are looking for will act as EO researcher and junior technical project manager of several activities dedicated to the development of the R&D areas of the Space Engineering Business Unit, especially in the EO Applications account, as well as down-the-line project management activities. He or she will be strongly involved at the bidding stage in the preparation of proposals in response to customer invitations to tender and requests for quotations. The candidate must be a problem-killer and team player, able to work efficiently, proactively and with high-quality, given the constraints of time and resources availability of each specific activity. Proactive and upcoming Juniors welcome.
Requirements
- BS/MSc or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Remote Sensing, Aerospace, Telecommunications or Physics.
- Basic/Detailed knowledge of Remote Sensing principles and data processing. Experience in Software Development (C, Idl, Matlab, Python, shell-scripts).
- Very good or Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Additional Skills:
- Experienced in proposal writing
- Experienced in project management
- Knowledge of GNSS principles
- Knowledge of multi-spectral, high resolution optical remote sensing
- Knowledge of satellite altimetry principles
- Knowledge of SAR principles, interferometry
- Knowledge of Spanish or Catalan
