PostDoc - Cancer research

Description

The Laboratory of Cancer and Metabolism led by Dr.George Thomas, Dr. Sara Kozma and Dr. Albert Tauler is recruiting an outstanding candidate at the postdoctoral level to study the role of E2F1 and c-myc on mTOR signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma. Recent ongoing studies have appeared in Science Translational Medicine (Thomas et al. 2012, Sci Transl Med.) and PLoS One ( Real et al. 2011 PLoS One). Our newly equipped laboratories are located in the IDIBELL, Barcelona, Spain.

Requirements

- Highly motivated Postdoctoral fellow from relevant field, and preferably with knowledge of immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy and molecular biology techniques (RT-PCR, IP, transfection).
- Experience with mouse models of cancer is desirable,preferably in liver.

More information and applications
