Description

The Unit of Macromolecular Crystallography is part of the Biomedicine Institute of Valencia (IBV) that belongs to Spanish Scientific Research Council (CSIC) and is located to Valencia (Spain). The Institute consists of over 100 researchers, forming 16 focused research groups. The IBV aims at furthering biomedical research, trying to help bridge the gap between fundamental biological and structural knowledge and medical knowledge. Our unit is focused in deciphering the molecular mechanism of different signaling pathways using protein crystallography and biochemical characterization as main technical resources. We are looking for a PhD candidate that will be integrated in a new, challenging and promising research line of the group focused in the structural and functional characterization of the signaling capacity of dUTPases.
