PostDoc - Intense light fields

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid
Madrid, Spain

Description

We offer a 24-months post-doctoral position under the Marie Curie Initial Training Network on Correlated Multi-Electron Dynamics in Intense Light Fields (CORINF). The research project will be focused on studying complex systems under intense light fields, with the aim of imaging structures and dynamics of individual molecules with the combination of sub-Angstrom spatial and attosecond temporal resolution. An important objective of the network is the development of a flexible software package for modelling intense-field multi-electron dynamics, addressed at the general scientific community. The IT network will provide an ideal multidisciplinary environment for training young researchers in the combination of physics, chemistry and computational methods used by different communities and taught at different departments.

Requirements

- PhD in Theoretical/Computational Physics or Chemistry
- Less than 5 years research experience (including PhD)
- Not have resided or carried out their main activity in either SPAIN or ITALY for more than 12 months during the past 3 years.
