Description
We are seeking a researcher with at least two-year experience in postdoctoral research in the field of materials science or physical chemistry. The candidate should have a good knowledge of Surface Science techniques (photoemission spectroscopy and scanning probe microscopies) and UHV instrumentation. Experience in the synthesis of materials (chemical vapor deposition, self-assembly on surfaces) is considered a plus.
The candidate is expected to carry out and coordinate the research activity concerning the development of new catalytic materials based on graphene. the position is for 3 years and funded by italian ministry of university and research through a FIRB project ("Beyond graphene: tailored C-layers for novel catalytic materials and green chemistry").
