Description
The candidate will contribute to European-wide energy economics research projects, with a particular emphasis on climate change mitigation scenarios, impact assessment, security of supply at the link between energy and climate change policies. She/he will also contribute to the development and exploitation of energy sectoral models, with the purpose of carrying out ex-ante impact assessment of alternative policy options in those sectors.
Requirements
He/she should have experience in Energy engineering, energy economics, environmental economics, software engineering, statistics. Good knowledge of the quantitative approaches for energy techno-economic assessment and modelling energy systems, including the characterization of sectoral energy demand and supply curves. The candidate should have a Ph.D. or 5 years of research experience after the first degree giving access to doctoral studies.
