Description
We’re looking for an Assistant Scientist to assist in the cleaning, calibration and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment. In addition you will assist in the operation of our quality assurance system. Our team provides support for high resolution water quality monitoring activities and we deliver a vital service that underpins a wide range of Surface Water Monitoring Programme’s.
Requirements
We’re seeking a technician, preferably with lab or workshop experience. You should have an interest in or possess a science or engineering background, formally qualified or with substantial and relevant vocational experience. In addition you should possess proven ability and/or knowledge of:
• Laboratory procedure and practice
• Use of quality systems and documentation
• Workshop practices
• Use of quality systems and documentation
• Workshop practices
Other key requirements for this job include excellent communication skills and a passion for innovation and problem solving.
