Description
The research group of Atomistic Materials Modeling at IMDEA Materials Institute seeks a Researcher (Master degree in computer science, materials science, physics or electronic engineering) to work in the European funded MASTIC project to develop and use Kinetic Monte Carlo models written in C++ to simulate diffusion in crystalline alloys (semiconductors and or metals) and implement parallelization under the supervision of a project leader with demonstrated experience in the field.
Requirements
The optimum candidate would have experience in some of the following fields:
- C++ development of scientific applications (including parallelization), or
- Kinetic Monte Carlo simulation, or
- Defects in crystals.
- High level of English.
