Description
A vacancy has arisen in our Penrith office for an Environmental Specialist in the Highway Environmental Team. The role involves carrying out a variety of studies, environmental assessments and designs. An understanding of carbon and energy reduction along with waste management would be an advantage. EnterpriseMouchel is a rapidly expanding Network Management company working with the Highways Agency to deliver a first class integrated service. The Area 13 Commission involves maintaining all aspects of the Motorway and Trunk Road network in Cumbria and North Lancashire to the highest standards.
Requirements
Candidates would be ideally qualified to Degree level or equivalent with an understanding of the environmental field. Experience within the Highways is desirable but not essential. The role requires a candidate who can:
• Plan projects and work independently to a given brief
• Produce technical documents and reports.
• Work closely with other team members to achieve targets and deadlines
• Provide environmental advice and support to all colleagues.
