PhD - MicroRNAs in cell life and death regulation

The Pharmacology Unit of the Dept. of Experimental Medicine, Institut de Recerca Biomèdica de Lleida, University of Lleida, invites applications for a doctoral position to study the role of MicroRNAs in cell life and death regulation. Candidates should possess a master degree in Life Sciences and be willing to initiate their Ph.D studies. Successful candidates will be guided in the application to a government Fellowship (see below: Appendix A and B). Applicants should be highly motivated students willing to take on intellectual, scientific and technical challenges. English is meant to be the communication language in the lab.

Eligibility:

In order to apply to the fellowships, candidates must hold an average mark of at least 2.0 (according to the Spanish rating system: see "To apply" and Appendix C).

However it is also advisable to have:

A. Additional certificates attesting the level of English (e.g. TOEFLE)

B. Attendance to scientific meetings/conferences

Evaluation Process and Deadline:
