Description:

CLPU is seeking a doctor in physics with experience in experimental research of laser-plasma interactions. The object of the contract is the design and installation of the target area for research in petawatt ultraintense laser-plasma interactions in the CLPU. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the design of the petawatt laser target area

• Participate in the installation of the petawatt laser target area

• Collaborate with the rest of the scientific division of CLPU in the scientific development of the center.

• Link with national and international scientific community to determine the scientific and technical needs of potential users

 • Any other task commissioned to the employee, which he/she is capable of doing.

Requirements:

- PhD in Physics or equivalent.

- High level of English, written and spoken.

- At least three years of experience as ultraintense laser specialist.

- Experience in experimental laser-plasma interactions.

- Experience in international institutions in the fields indicated.

Additional Requirements:

- Knowledge of other languages, specially German and/or French.

- Experience as user of laser facilities.

- Experience in laser plasma acceleration.

- Experience as target area operator.

- Adaptation of the profile to the functions of the job vacancy.
