Responsibilities:
Currently we are seeking to employ a person to work as Junior AOCS (attitude and orbit control subsystems) Engineer in Space related projects in GMV’s Romanian offices located in Bucharest. The chosen candidate should be integrated with initial training period in GMV’s Headquarters in Madrid (Spain) from 6 months to 1 year. The functions allocated to the position of AOCS Engineer , among others, will be the following: Design, development and verification of Attitude Orbital Control Systems for Spacecraft products Participation of reviews and performing analyses/ simulations Work closely with the rest of Space Area in Romania to identify opportunities, and others.
M.Sc. in Aerospace or Telecommunications Engineer, with high Computing Skills, Mathematics or Similar Good background in Unix/Linux environments Deep understanding of simulation aspects, control aspects and hardware is preferred Advanced knowledge Matlab/ Simulink Knowledge control engineering Proficiency in English language Strong organizational skills Availability for frequent business travelling. The ideal candidate should have: Good knowledge in mathematical modeling Experience in computer simulations Good knowledge in software development
